On September 6 and 7, 2025, Julius Juul and Davide Maccari, founders of 444, crossed Italy on foot from Livorno to Ravenna, covering 240 kilometers in two days with no crew and no support. Pushed by heat, exhaustion, and lack of sleep, their perception began to shift, landscapes blurred, reality fractured, and the run slipped into an altered mental state. This project is UNVEIL®’s AI visualization of that experience, translating their memories into images of hallucinations, distortions, and fleeting visions. Runner’s High is not a documentary but a visual reconstruction of what happens when the body keeps moving and the mind goes somewhere else. The book was published by Berlin Photobook Distribution and launched in Seoul at HAHOUSE.
