9 Portraits of a Vase

UNVEIL® carte blanche for Mathilde Martin. A series of digital paintings reinterpreting the ceramic works of Mathilde Martin. The project brings together two practices at opposite ends of the creative spectrum. On one side, ceramics shaped by hand from earth, water, fire, and time. On the other, images created through artificial intelligence and computation. With this series, we were interested in blurring the boundaries between what’s real and what’s not, even further.
